i love company...
so it's been three weeks since last blogging... so many things have happened since then... i went on my FIRST cottage trip. it's not really a cottage but a rental house for 3 days with Peoples' friends and i can't believe how much fun i had there. if i knew how to put up pictures, i would and then i could show you all. the days there were soooo awesome.... it's been 3 years since i went on ANY trip with Peoples' friends and i must say, it was quite awesome! i love just hanging out, lounging, ultimate frisbeeing, freezing, werewolfing (is that how you spell it?), cranium-ing, cooking, eating, stargazing, sparkler-ing... hahaha.
i'm also volunteering at Bloorview MacMillan at the school there. for those of you who don't know, Bloorview MacMillan is kind of like a children's hospital or centre for those with disabilities. it's so awesome. this is my second week there and i've learned SO much from the experience. the kids are just so awesome in the ways that they show affection. some of them are nonverbal and they're just able to show that they understand through smiling, touching, groaning... it's awesome. i kind of signed up to volunteer because i'm kind of inexperienced in this area and just working at the school has been so rewarding... :)
t.e.s.l. (teaching english as a second language) is something that i've been doing every saturday since the first week of may... 6 long Saturdays from 9am-5pm but it's also been a learning experience. i've met so many people from different walks and areas of life all wanting to teach english somewhere. surprisingly, there are a lot of Christians in my class too and i'm glad to know that there are God's people among people from all walks of life. :)
monday was victoria day... my first victoria day at the beaches with fireworks. my first time playing with fireworks. it was uber awesome. i've discovered that i love setting things on fire. :)
and tuesday was Blue Jays vs. Red Soxs game with Ken, Ralph and Emily. it's so good to go to a game and actually be able to "see the race of the players" (quoted from Emily Fan). that's how close we were. i learned a few players' names (i.e. SHE-A Hillenbrand). after last night, i don't think Ken will EVER go to a game with me ever again. i think i'm quite a bit rowdy... just like how faith says she'll never watch a hockey game with me ever and now, i've found another person who doesn't want to watch anything with me either... :)
well, signing out for now... :)

Your blog is as dead as mutilated pig thighs, impaled and hung out on a hook to have it's blood drained out. Can you spell D-E-A-D? Cause that's what your blog is. Peas.
