everyone's leaving me behind...



oh gosh, as i just typed up that title, i felt like i was going to post on the "left behind" series or like those old-school rapture videos with the song, "two were walking down the road, one was left behind". *shudder*

anywho, as emily has heard me rant for the past two weeks, i decided i would write a post since i don't feel like working anymore today and my brain is too tired to function but willing to type up a mindless post.

this is my rant. EVERYONE IS LEAVING ME! i just realized that within the past month, it has been a whirlwind of events unfolding before my eyes. we're all grown up.

i just realized that after graduation, everyone's life just kind of unfolds and you can't stop them. the 06 year has seen so many people move away this year: ericson, gaby, darren, jordan, dan O, janice ... the list just keeps going. now, johnny is moving to Korea too for at least 2 years. *tear*

then, my school friends who have been with me since well, Kindergarten, are also moving on. steph is going to HK and i just found out today that faith is moving to Mexico. oh gosh, i went to school for 18 years with steph and 14 years with faith and now they'll be gone. for who knows how long? MAYBE FOREVER!! *tear tear* this has really been a sad month for me... i think i'm in a bit of denial.

as if that's not all, my sister finally landed a job yesterday. she's moving to new york city! and she starts the last week of this month! i can't take this impact anymore! *tear tear tear*

oh, not to mention that there's an endless number of people who MIGHT be leaving this city for higher places... (i.e. more school). but we'll deal with this one step at a time. take a deep breath, mel. i just need a hug.

T.O. friends... we need to band together. i'm going to be really lonely next year....
