is this really the end of this summer?

looking back in my first 4-month summer in Toronto... it wasn't nearly as fun as i thought it would be. i had SO MUCH more fun in my '2 month' summers. i enjoyed May & June, volunteering at Bloorview was wonderful. but honestly, i don't think i really enjoyed July & August. it was tiring to work at the YMCA. i do think that i gained experiences that can never be replaced but never again do i want to work for the YMCA. it was just a really unorganized camp... i liked the people but the environment just made me feel blah about it for 10 weeks!

softball was great. i finally played with people i barely knew... i know that at the beginning, i was so hesitant to jump into softball again because i'm just feeling old. BUT the great thing about seniors is that there are always SO MANY OTHERS who are older than you. hahahah... i loved it! thanks so much to all those friends that i made in softball... i really hope i get to see you all around sometime!

hanging out with friends was next to non-existent in the last couple months. housecleaning was so stressful that i really had a hard time just being happy with life in general. there were days that i swear i nearly had a nervous breakdown... i cried everyday for many nights... it's undescribeable. in the end, i'm glad that i've been freed. i didn't mention any of this to even my closest friends until after maybe 3 months of sadness/depression and ever since then, i've been happy! yay for prayer & support!

my ode to summer ended with a two day fever. with sore throat... sad, but NOW I'M BETTER! YAY!

i am returning to kingston tomorrow... maybe boredom OR procrastination will drive me to write more in my blog! *smooch to all my readers... except maybe some creepy ones*
