passion - november 22, 2005
what can i say? i'm floored. not really by the number of people there, but by what God can merely do in one night. how God can really speak to EVERYONE there in one sitting. how God can reveal Himself in a mere 3.5 hours. just look below... (i took it off someone's webpage... sorry!) but it's as though the light is God and we are His people just worshipping Him because that IS what we were doing!
what has God taught me? i would consider myself as someone who has low self-esteem... who has no confidence in the things that i can do. louis giglio talked about the bigness of God and the smallness of us using the beautiful world of His creation and universe. i was floored by images of the universe and how small the Earth is. about how Earth merely looks like a dust particle and WE the people live on the dust particle.... how much smaller are we? maybe a nano-bacteria size. AND YET, GOD LOVES EACH ONE OF US! HE CAME FOR ME... A NANO-BACTERIA. He gives me worth... He gives me meaning. it's something that i'm still trying to comprehend.
the other thing is about revival on campuses across the GTA, Ontario and Canada. it's my fourth year now and i've been involved in CCF since day one when i landed in kingston. and i praise God because i have seen so much change since then. and i know that there is so much more. "God, may you break down our walls so that we see you and you alone. May you take us and use us for Your glory! Thank you!"
other tidbits about Passion:
- the longest bus ride ever. 2:30-6pm to get to toronto... then 11:30pm-3:45am to return to kingston = nearly 7 hours!
- i miss T.O. so much... thanks Emily, Sam, Warren, Abby, Gen, Ken, Eric, etc... soooo good to see you all. i miss you... can't wait until Christmas
- approximately 4,000+ people worshipping... wow!
- i finally know what Charlie Hall, Chris Tomlin and David Crowder look like
- Mike Lau and Kat are famous!

it was good seeing you too mel...=->...and those images about the speck of dust really hit me at the concert. I found that amazing.

i wanna see the video. i feel like everyone went to passion except me. well we cool waterloo ppl were here stud-- partying. seriously i don't remember what i was doing last tuesday. besides 'gilmore girls'. somehow i doubt i did much work though. wait last week might have been the good day 'cos i was actually able to print stuff. yay.
don't worry faith... there were many others who did not go to passion. it's not about going there, i think it's more about bringing back what we learned there! so as long as you learned something from what you've heard, then that's what's important! i miss you too faith!
