my adventurous life...

so... let's just update on my life. the past week has been relaxing. i should be doing MORE WORK... but really, i'm just lazy but yeah, i need the relaxation. school's out and exams are here. one more week for me. i'm going to start cramming REALLY soon. :)

but let's see... i had a really good last week of school. got my physics mark back (if anyone remembers my post earlier this year about my funny french retired physics prof)... so, it is easier to get a 90% than a 60% in the course. ironically, we had a 100% final.. meaning only ONE evaluation and guess what i got!! guess, guess, guess!! i got 96%.... wohooooooo... the highest mark i've ever gotten in university. (darren, don't you wish you took this course now?)

anywhoo, i'm in toronto now in a spontaneous trip. let me tell you what happened this week:
monday:
- my parents call and ask if i want to go to Japan to visit my relatives... that sounds exciting since i've never been there... so we look up hostels and such to live in and it's all good
tuesday:
- my parents call me at 7:45am and ask me if i want to go to HK/China... b/c they've already booked my tickets to HK for december 23 - january 2... but they're really calling to see if i want to go to China (Wun Laam) during december 25 - december 30. i say, "alright."
- they call again at 10am... and tell me that i need to get my passport renewed so i must fill out and application and take pictures (2 for my passport and 2 for my Chinese visa)
- so, i make a trip downtown kingston to do all these things!
wednesday:
- i go volunteering in the morning and then i make a short walk to photocopy my health card and driver's licence
- then pastor lo comes to my house to sign my passport applications.... very nice of him
- esther returns to kingston and her mom comes to pick up my applications right afterwards to bring them back to my parents
thursday:
- my parents go to the passport application place and then find out that we won't be able to pick up my passport until the 22nd ... and you have to remember that i leave for HK on the 23rd, but i also need to get my china visa done (which takes like 3-5 days or pay more to get it done express!)... so, the only other option is for me to come out to toronto b/c then they'll give me my passport on the 15th....
- so, they called at like 10:30am and i hop on the to come back to toronto from kingston on the 11:15am bus... and don't forget that we have to take the taxi to the bus terminal and buy a ticket... OH MAN.
- so, now i'm in toronto... and i will return tonight with kwan.

i wonder how much more adventures i'll go through between now and china trip.... oh man, oh man, oh man...
